What kind of auxiliary support for what kind of slab? No problem with the new calculation tools from MEVA. Type in a few data and the programme gives you the amount of the required props per square meter slab. Dead load and working load during construction are considered as well as different prop categories according to DIN EN 1065. The programme uses data from the DBV bulletin „Betonschalungen und Ausschalfristen (Formwork and stripping times)“.
The German standard DIN 18218 is here!
The extended regulations for fresh concrete pressure are now also valid for flowable and self compacting concrete (SCC).
MEVA has also developed an easy programme for vertical formwork. It shows in a few steps for what fresh concrete pressure the formwork has to be designed. The programme is available now, also online.
